【伊勢檜】―神宮の歴史に育まれた銘木
伊勢檜（いせひのき）は、伊勢神宮の「式年遷宮」で使われる良質な木材として知られ、300年以上にわたり林業の伝統と共に育まれてきました。
三重県産の伊勢檜は、その香り高さと丈夫さ、そして美しい木目が特徴。使用することで森林保全や地域の文化継承にも貢献できる、まさにサステナブルな日本製の箸です。

【八角箸】―縁起の良い形、神前の作法から着想
八角形は、日本の伝統で「八」が多くの幸運や無限を象徴する聖なる数とされており、日本書紀にも記されています。伊勢神宮・外宮の御饌殿（みけでん）で、1500年以上続く神事「日毎朝夕大御饌祭（ひごとあさゆうおおみけさい）」では、神饌を供える際に最初に供されるのが八角箸です。
